In the June 2019 Askew's Uptown Newsletter, there was a lovely picture of the Morning Walkers having coffee on the Askew's deck.   Askew's is a generous supporter of the Shuswap Lady Striders.

In the April 2018 (Vol 04) edition of The Seniors Paper (Regina, SK), some of our Shuswap Lady Striders were featured on the front page walking in the Salmon Arm Fall Fair parade. The caption read: The sun is shining, the snow is melting and soon seniors will be digging out sunglasses and sneakers to take their puppy pals for a walk in lovely spring weather, just like these sunshine-loving ladies in Salmon Arm B.C.
